FYI: Sounds like we have an Enlightened L8 from a Boise/Nampa group flying into town, probably within the next couple of hours. He will probably do some portal work around town and might be interested in some keys in an effort to create a large field. I have sent him an invite so be on the lookout.

Gonna hit up Bozeman in a bit.  I won't do anything offensive... just gonna hack some portals.  I ran out of everything this weekend trying to reclaim lost Manhattan territory.  Time to restock everything.  My inventory is barer than a buffet restaurant after a fat people's convention.

Ok.....so.... Got downtown back. Couldn't do enough with MOR, but felt pretty good. That is, until I looked at the map for livingston.

In addition to the stronger links, Niantic will also limit the use of XMP bursters by having them drain your XM.  XM loss will be based on the level of XMP burster that you are using.  This should make it alot more difficult for people to wipe out whole cities in one day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3zgb6dujks

Supposedly ingress is coming out of its beta at the end of this month. Anyone else hear something similar? Gonna be a large influx of noobs. This should be interesting.

BLAAAH...  Just got done with my three day killing spree.  Captured portals in Three Forks, Manhattan, and parts of Belgrade... all in all, I destroyed close to 80 resonators.  52,000 AP in three days.  Now I am out of XMPs and stuff to hack/attack.  I need 1,400 AP till I hit lvl 5

So, zar & F-psycho went on a rampage on tax day. I tried to reclaim as much as possible. I took over 19th. I don't think it will stand very long, but if you have keys the AP is avail. Rosauers is enlightened as of last night as well. Tried to keep the outbound campus connections open for those near and on campus to connect. I made a tactical error with a field from the bible college to 19th. Isolated rosauers and babcock PO from campus....whoops. Any suggestions?

Greetings from Alberta's enlightened!  We're scouting Montana for a possible end point of a giant field. We're currently looking at Lewistown as the best possible location and wondering if anyone would be able to provide assistance.  Specifically keys to "US Post Office", and "Lewiston Art Center".  Also help keeping the portal's green so we can make the link would also be appreciated. In case you didn't know zarkuu swiped up a bunch of our portals.  He pretty much decimated all of Three Forks, Manhattan, and Belgrade.  Would not surprise me if he finished off portions of Bozeman.  On the bright side, instead of making 200 pts/day upkeeping all my portals, I can pretty much tenfold that hacking all of his before I eventually reclaim them.  Gotta be a faster way to level up.  I am just over 95K pts.

Just to let you all know, it looks like Google is handing out request codes roughly 1 1/2 - 2 weeks from request date. I sold my soul to the Enlightenment to get a code, but roughly two weeks after requesting an invite code they emailed it to me. My sister recently requested one and roughly 2 weeks got hers. I also used my other gmail account and again, roughly 2 weeks after got my code.  So, if you all have friends who are interested, they should have a code within two weeks of asking.

BTW, check the Play Store as they have released an Ingress update. this update looks like it officially rolls out the power cubes.

Think I am gonna go ahead and make my way to Bozeman.  I actually burned up over 130 XMP bursters last night trying to reclaim Belgrade.  Gonna upgrade some resonators in the downtown area and enjoy the rest of my birthday.

Belgrade has fallen to the Resistance.  I am heading out that way tomorrow to reclaim it for us.  I am also planning to assault their Four Corners portal that is linking huge portions of Bozeman.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello all Enlightened! just came online last week. Thank you FrozenJackel for guiding me here. The blue remember zarkuu has sucessfully undone all my plays on saturday. So, today was the retaking of the "Spirit". If anyone has a key to the library. That could be a decent field.

I recieved a nice little tip from Joe Hansen today. Hopefully I wont muck it up too bad trying to pass it on. :)  His advise was to conserve L4 resonators as much as possible. The reason being, from L6 on, you will need four L4 resonators for every portal. So as I understand it, if you want to claim a portal that is unclaimed, it will take four L4 resonators before the portal will be powered (Correct my understand if I am wrong Joe).  Something else I was unaware of that I will include in this tip, is that portal levels are based on an average rounded down. So, a portal with two L6 resonators, two L5's, two L3's & two L2's = L4 Portal (2x6 + 2x5 + 2x3 + 2x2 = 32/8 = 4). When you couple the two tips together, you see how you can avoid burning through your L4 resonators while still powering the portal up to an L4 portal.  *Updated* per Joe's clarification.

Hey everyone. I met up with Tim last night and farmed the MSU campus a bit. Had an enjoyable night and was able to pickup some tips as well (Thanks Tim Gradl ). BTW, if you have not met up with Tim yet, you should try to do so. A-n-d...now the segway...  Tim flys out Saturday to head back home. Based on the damage he has been able to inflict upon the Smurfs in the valley, I do not know how bad we will need his L8 capabilities tonight or Friday, but it might be fun if some or all of us could get together for a group farming run & some coffee or even pie and coffee. Not sure what everyone's schedules are like, but if everyone is open to something like that drop a comment in and lets see if enough of us can do something. I will be the first to admit I still have to approach my wife with this before I know my availability. OK, I don't know about all of you, but I have a hard time connecting names to player names. So on the left hand side under links, I have created a Google Spreadsheet (Bozeman Player Names) where, if you want, you can list your player name & real name. No one should feel the need to do this, but if you want to feel free. You should have the ability to edit the spreadsheet (if I shared it correctly..lol). *UPDATE* I have added a "Player Level" to the spreadsheet. If you decide to list your current level, please try to occasionally update the spreadsheet so we have a fairly accurate list of player levels/capabilities. Thank you.

well the smurfs are trying to recover. Was just notified that Zarkuu destroyed a couple resonators up at E-Free church. My guess is they are starting to realize the damage done by gnibbler yesterday.

right now the MSU campus is nearly all L6, if you are looking for L5-L6 items it's a great place to farm
