Bozeman Enlightened Google Plus

Flash Farm alert!  Anyone up for one tonight or tomorrow night?  It would be nice to have at least five players out there.  It would be a great way to level up our L6 & L7 players.  I think I gained about 30K AP last night.  I have gear to spare

Well, this is probably as good as it is going to get for now.  This series includes roughly 9 or 10 larger fields sprouting off of 10 anchors.  In between there are roughly 20 or so minor fields.  Most major fields were started/completed by Devon Woods . Special thanks to Robert Potter for helping us take out Belgrade. the largest of the fields was blocked by a 20 metre link for most of the morning.   Either way, it looks like we are gonna reclaim the throne for the regional score count for Sierra 2 & 13! Another special thanks to cuke's brother aleyska (who just started playing Ingress yesterday).  He managed to crap out a bunch of stray links to gain AP and ended up screwing us out of closing in the large gap that would have swallowed Bozeman/Belgrade.

Made some tweaks to our player roster.  If you have a chance, I ask all members that reside in the Gallatin Valley to add/update their info.  Specifically, I would like information on what your AOR (Area of Responsibilities) are.  At some point, I want to construct an AOR map to help us expedite key exchanges that will help us in field planning.   The link to the player roster is on the right column labeled "Bozeman Player Names".   Thanks for your help!

Yay...!  Welcome aboard Devon Woods .  Another community to join!  This one is actually one of Montana's oldest and original groups.

Stopped by the Bozeman Canyon on my way back from Billings.  Decided to burn up one of the keys that Spharkii gave me.  We are kinda running a local mini OP which we dubbed "Green Nuisance".  This will require the local smurfs to either drive east into the Bozeman Canyon, find a legal spot to turn around on, then head back west to attack the anchor; or take a one hour round trip to Three Forks to attack my town.   Special thanks to Devon Woods for supplying me the keys to West Yellowstone.   If anyone wants to participate and commutes to West Yellowstone, please let me know.  I will provide bulk keys to both Three Forks and Bozeman Canyon. Montana's Cross Faction meeting was awesome today!  We made arrangements for 6-8 people, and 12 showed up!  While two thirds came from the local area, four of our Resistance agents (seated at the bottom) made a 286 mile round-trip from Billings.  They rolled in late because they wanted to make sure that they threw a massive blue field over our meeting place.   We were also fortunate enough to have a former Montana agent (wagga) in town from Rapid City SD.  Thanks for showing up!  I am sure I can speak for all by saying we had a great time! Hey everyone!  We have a scheduled Cross-Faction meeting in Bozeman on Jan 19 at Old Chicago!  Time is 1800 hrs (or 6 PM) and all of you have been cordially invited for this event.  We will be far away from any portals so you won't have to worry about losing stuff inside of a portal when swapping gear!  We look forward to having everyone with us to also swap stories and strategies.  Thanks for reading and we will look forward to seeing all of you guys!

Well, I am back after an extended vacation.  Had some side projects I was working on and needed a bit of a break from things.  Thanks for letting me back in!  Glad to see you guys grew!

So Jackson Cyr along with other fellow toads decided to make the Gallatin Valley green.  The field encompasses all of Bozeman, Belgrade, and Three Forks.  If you add up the surrounding fields that Scott Beach set up, this entire operation covers three different states.  Great work guys!

I am currently working on getting a large scale project in gear.  I code named it Ops Green Zone.  You may have noticed a link on the right column to a document which is closed off.  The reason why it is closed off is because this whole project is still in the concept phase. Here is the idea behind Ops GZ:  I want to start exporting important portal keys to Idaho, Washington State, and down as far as Utah to fellow faction members.   Drops/pickups will be made at strategic locations throughout the perspective state.  It will be kinda like a relay run.  I will make my way up and down each state and drop off keys.   In return, I want to move their keys up to us so we can establish an interstate network and build larger fields. I am currently still working on contact information with agents operating in these areas. I can't really do this by myself so I am relying on YOU guys help me establish contacts in those areas IF you know anyone.  I also need help with you guys providing me key...

Well fellow toads, I hope everyone had a nice four-day weekend.  I myself just got back from Missoula (I got to spend the last eight days working).  As our BBQs are going out and the last of our fireworks are being lit off by our kids, I would like to get everyone to kinda regroup and start planning our next offensive.  I've noted some high activities.  Most notably Jackson Cyr who has been zig-zagging the state setting up massive control fields.  Also Pam Kennedy who holds a strategic position in western/central Montana linking up to the western side and maintaining links for Jackson.   As massive as these fields are, I feel we can bolster our efforts and expand by utilizing the expertise of players outside of the "hot-zones".  We got people like CJ Wilder  controlling massive portions of Anaconda   Ultimately, I would love to see fields covering the whole state.  We need to look at establishing portal key drop-offs that are easily accessible to the guys that hold turf f...

Three Forks has added two additional portals in one week.  The Sacajawea "Coming Home" Statue and the historic hotel right across the street from it are now online.  This brings the total portals in Three Forks to six with one more portal pending approval.
