In case you didn't know zarkuu swiped up a bunch of our portals. He pretty much decimated all of Three Forks, Manhattan, and Belgrade. Would not surprise me if he finished off portions of Bozeman. On the bright side, instead of making 200 pts/day upkeeping all my portals, I can pretty much tenfold that hacking all of his before I eventually reclaim them. Gotta be a faster way to level up. I am just over 95K pts.
Having a smurf reclaim portals I have thought is not a bad thing if high enough to retake. More opportunity for AP.

yeah, unfortunately you only get the 100 AP if the portal belongs to opposite faction. I'd be level 8 if I could get pts for my own portals. Kinda sucks, but at the same time, I was getting bored with the map constantly being the same. It will pay off in the longrun having him claim rural Mt. I will just pick up some AP hacking and slashing his portals.

ReplyDeleteplace resonator: 125 ap
place final resonator: 250 ap
capturing neutral portal: 500
create 1 link: 313
control field: 1250 (every size)
destroying these give (aprox) 60% of what was given to create them
so destroying an enemy portal with 5 fields:
fields destroyed 3750
links destroyed 1122
so knocking down and setting up a single portal that started with 5 fields and setting up with just 1 field can yield about
8500 ap plus about 1563 for each field after
Shane Helbing WOW, I thought you got 100 AP from hacking your own portal as well. that explains a little bit and certainly messes up my planned efforts.
ReplyDeleteI am changing up my whole strategy. Have high-level portals, link them, hack them daily to stockpile stuff. Let them decay and repeat. Prolly the only way I will see lvl 5 in the near future.
