right now the MSU campus is nearly all L6, if you are looking for L5-L6 items it's a great place to farm

    did you grab the Walt Whitman portal? it was taken out last night & I did not get to it to claim. So as of 11pm or so (yesterday) it was still unclaimed.

    i think that one is still on Greek way, I picked the one there this morning on the way to campus.  I submitted a correction on that one a while ago so it's due to be moved soon

    also with the campus portals:  if you are lower than the level of the portal it will give you items close to your level.  a short walk can nab 9 hacks per loop

    I haven't really had the opportunity to walk the campus yet which is something I would like to do. for now most of my efforts have been concentrated around 10pm time frame so I have been a little reluctant to just start walking the campus for portals.

With google shutting down Google+ in the near future and the reality of players using other platforms for communications, now seems like a good time to shut down the Bozeman Enlightened Google+ page. I will wait a few days in case anyone wants to look around one last time or look up a member, etc. But short of a very compelling reason, I think its time to shut it down. Thank you to everyone that ever participated in this community. Sadly I feel by the time our local number of players had really picked up, Google+ was no longer the best tool for communicating. Still, it was nice having it in the early days and interesting to see how the history of game play in the Bozeman area evolved.

After much discussion and testing we are hoping to move state-wide communications to Slack and away from Hangouts.  A single Slack Team will allow us to have channels for each area, a general channel, private group chats, and individual chats (direct messages).  Owners and Admins do not have access to group chats unless invited, nor to direct messages between individuals.  Slack also allows the team to be moderated and it does not have a limit of 100 people. The goal is to bring Montana together as a team for communication.  It will not replace our communities but it will allow Montana to communicate more effectively as a team for local, State-wide, and National operations. Slack has proven very effective in Idaho and other areas. Anyone up for hitting up campus?

Anyone up for hitting up campus? I think I will make my way over there again. gonna try to get my last 23k pts and make L7 for the Portal Event on the 16th. Same place and time! Btw, has anyone else had issues yesterday with Ingress? Some people and myself couldnt get our inventories to load. Also when I tried to place resonators, they never actually stuck to the portal. I placed close to 20 resonators to a portal, I ended up getting the 625 AP for placing the first resonator ...each time.
