After much discussion and testing we are hoping to move state-wide communications to Slack and away from Hangouts. A single Slack Team will allow us to have channels for each area, a general channel, private group chats, and individual chats (direct messages). Owners and Admins do not have access to group chats unless invited, nor to direct messages between individuals. Slack also allows the team to be moderated and it does not have a limit of 100 people. The goal is to bring Montana together as a team for communication. It will not replace our communities but it will allow Montana to communicate more effectively as a team for local, State-wide, and National operations. Slack has proven very effective in Idaho and other areas. Please either post your email so we can add you or contact Robert Lafley, Jackson Cyr, Devon W, John Ewan, Frank Dougher, Jeremy Neff, or myself with your email address so we can add you.
There's a smurf field cutting through town.
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteOK, I pulled up the intel map. One of the best hits you could do (in my opinion) would be to knock out the post office at Rosaures. BUT, it is a L7 fortified portal (shield x2, force amp, turret). Resonators appear to be fully powered. But taking it down appears to break 5 links.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the other major field can be hammered by knocking out L4 Gatton Field Monument MSU portal (no mods) And I think the L5 Abstract Sculpture MSU portal (no mods). If you go this route, you should benefit from the destruction of a third (small) portal connected to the first two.
Hitting the L6 American Computer Museum (shield x2, turret, force amp) up near the campus will also knock out a field.
Now if you want to claim portals then focus downtown as there are about 10 - 13 unclaimed portals at the moment.
Good luck with what ever you decide, enjoy & thanks for any destruction you bring. :)
